Our Teaching Approach
Our lessons are based on the communicative method, which means Italian is not something you analyse from a distance — it’s something you use. From the very first lesson, students speak, listen, ask questions, and interact with one another and with the teacher. Language becomes a tool, not a theory.
This approach allows us to adapt the learning path to each student’s needs and strengths. Rather than memorising rules in isolation, learners develop real communication skills they can apply immediately — ordering a coffee, asking for directions, having a conversation. Progress is visible, practical, and motivating.
Because our students use Italian actively, they gain confidence quickly. They don’t “recite” the language; they live it. Mistakes become part of the process, and each lesson feels like a step forward, not a hurdle.
If you want to see what this looks like in real life, watch the video below: you’ll meet Fumiya, who arrived knowing little more than ciao and, through consistent practice and immersion, reached a level where he could approach the CILS B2 exam with confidence. His story isn’t unusual — it’s what happens when you learn Italian by actually using it.
